Dirk Zeylman’s love of Jazz developed at a young age, harnessing his craft at the prestigious Sweenlinck Conservatorium in Amsterdam and the Victorian College of Arts, Melbourne.
Dirk’s Ensemble comprised of truly exceptional musicians from the
Canberra School of Music has the versatility to perform as a quartet with saxophone, guitar, double bass and drums, quintet including piano or sextet introducing a trumpet. All variations include vocals.
In a short period of time, they have built up an enviable reputation for providing first class entertainment. They are one of the most desired acts always in demand for prominent events,
functions and engagements.
Their tantalising repertoire blends well known Jazz Standards to modern cross-over hits, all played in a unique and richly textured harmony.
